Boomer Explosion... The 55-to-64 age group will rise from 29 million Americans in 2004 to 40 million in 2014. (But health issues may impact their longevity.) Think about how to adapt your strategy to capture this market.

Click, click, ka-ching, ka-ching! On-line shopping was up a whopping 22% in 2005, with total Internet spending reaching $143 billion. Travel represented the largest spend category. If you sell online, make sure your website is consumer-friendly and updated!

BDI has produced many high-profile business and consumer events, including the first Concierge Medicine Conference, client events for Microsoft, law firms and consulting practices, and "What To Do When 'Mother' is On Your Resume," a workshop targeted at women returning to careers.
