New Summer Associates Add Spark
theONswitch
is thrilled to welcome our new summer associate team, a
collection of the best, brightest and hottest creative minds
we can imagine compressing together. No running out of energy
any time soon!
We're
on full power (and cooler than ever), so feel free to send us your projects
that lie dormant (like Uncle
Larry).
What's
it like having all these young people working here?

the steakhouse, the real thing)

We
all like to fantasize about getting off the beaten track and
feeling that wind in our hair, which is probably why Kate
makes a perfect addition to our team, having spent part of a
college semester in the Australian wilderness. Kate
graduated Cum Laude and received her BA in Psychology Cum
Laude from Syracuse University in May. Her previous work
experience includes a wide range of community service
assignments and jobs in the food business. |

Making
Marketing $$ Make Sense
Let's
face it. We all need to figure out how much bang we're getting
for our buck. This summer, Kristin helps us interpret those
little pesky dollar signs. It's no secret...dollars talk
(and Kristin can actually hear them, even when they whisper!)
After spending two years in sales and consumer promotions
finance for Unilever, Kristin is looking to merge her left
brain analytical ability with her right brain passion --
writing! She also worked in NYC in promotions and film. Now
who said number crunchers are boring?

"Where
words fail, music speaks." - Hans Christian
Andersen
In
a world increasingly filled with thunder and clutter, some
people struggle to be heard. Not Oliver. A native of
Scarsdale, Oliver has traveled to more than 21 countries and
23 states. Wherever he goes he takes his first love with him
-- music. Oliver is finishing his undergraduate degree in
Liberal Studies/Arts at SUNY Purchase and has worked as an
entertainment company marketing assistant and a music
instructor. Now he'll be helping theONswitch clients stay
one beat ahead!

Crossing
the Generational Divide
YouTube
or blogging? Podcasts or pop-ups? Much of us don't know what
kids today are looking at, much less what they're thinking.
Enter Alana. A former intern at RIOT Media, Inc., Alana
comes to us with a background in marketing to "tween" boys.
She is completing her BA in Communications at the University
of Maryland and attended the AIFS study abroad program in Rome
for a semester.

"Being
entirely honest with onself is a good exercise." - Sigmund
Freud
Who
truly understands the human mind, what motivates consumers and
why we spend money? No one, really. But Marina may be able to
help get closer to the answer for theONswitch clients! A
graduate of Indiana University, Marina comes to us with a
degree in psychology. As an intern at the Children's Museum of
Indianoplis and the Guidance Center of New Rochelle, Marina
has focused on child development.
