Good Tidings or Lump of Coal?

Good tidings, of course! As another year draws to a
close, we celebrate all the wonderful moments of
2007. Despite day-to-day aggravations, business
challenges, and dark days, we need to continue to
look for the rays of light that are always there. (But we
know you all love to read about the naughty stuff,
so we've thrown some in here too.)
We're reprising our 2006 "let's be nice" offer. For
each reader who clicks
here to visit
theONblog or
Hippy to Wiki before January 15, theONswitch will
donate $1 toward education, health, and
environmental causes.
Have a wonderful holiday season and healthy, happy
and electric new year!

Obscure Fact of the Month
Has holiday gifting really sunk this low? You can
really buy a game called Elf Bowling. What next?
Reindeer Hunting?

Making Miracles Happen
Building Buzz and Giving Back
Many clients of theONswitch consider philanthropy a
year-round priority. For example, ECOBAGS built a
close alliance with the Environmental Media
Association. MetroPartners (developers of 66main)
continually supports educational causes and the
Yonkers community. Advanced Dentistry of
Westchester and Elite Dental
Studios often take time from their practices for
programs that support kids and charities around the
world. THE GYM is
auctioning off a giant gingerbread gym to benefit The
Food Bank for Westchester. Oasis Day
Spa runs specials to benefit various
non-profits. And Everything
Summer supports kids' and camping causes.
This year, we helped launch a new necklace with a charity
tie-in. And, theONswitch continues to provide
marketing services to non-profits like the Pajama
Program.

Random Sparks
Great tunes can lift holiday spirits in many ways.
Bruce Springsteen is just one of the artists featured
on Give
Us Your Poor, a collection that contributes to
the fight against homelessness. Treat yourself or a
loved one to a festive
PRODUCT (RED) iPod. Or, build your
vocabulary while helping to end world hunger. Just go
to FreeRice.com,
just one of the ways the Internet is now being used for
fundraising.

Watch your e-mails next week for one
last burst of holiday cheer from theONswitch.
In the meantime, wishing you all the
joys of the season...
