Believe in Miracles
December 2008 Edition
Issue 32
Gift Box

December is filled with small miracles...whether you believe in the religious variety or just the magic of the season.
We all hope for business and personal miracles in the years ahead. But while we're making wishes and lighting our candles and trees, remember that the greatest power of all is the sheer force of human kindness and community.

We're reprising our "let's be nice" offer (our tradition since 2006). For each reader who visits theONblog or Hippy to Wiki before January 15th, theONswitch will donate $1 toward education/kids, health, and the environment. Become a fan of theONswitch on Facebook and we'll add another $1 to the donation for each new fan between now and January 15th.

Have a wonderful holiday season and a healthy, happy, and electric new year!

The future of many non-profits is uncertain, as donor bases shrink. But social capitalism seems to be on the upswing, and Harvard just launched a program targeted to aging boomers who want to give back.
