Issue 40

|
Fall has officially begun. Start the new
business "semester" with a good night's
sleep, apply what you've learned throughout 2009, ask
the right questions, and finish this year at the head of
the class. It's time for a clean slate with new rules,
trustworthy "classmates" and, of course, a little recess!

New Kids in Class
Building Buzz: New Clients/New Work
Everyone needs a cool bag for his notebook
(the laptop kind), digital camera, power cords,
chargers, and other electronic stuff. Our new client,
jill-e designs has
great ways to keep your digital life in
order...no trips to the "lost and found" this semester!
(We got the jill-e founders a NY Times interview
the first
week of our assignment!) The pink croc (pictured
above) is a personal fave of
theONswitch team, although more conservative
options abound.
theONswitch has great e-penmanship! We're
schooling Bertram
Educational Consultants in
how to craft an A-level e-newsletter. Watch for the first
edition. We just produced the second
e-newsletter
for Inspirica, the premier tutoring and test-
preparation company.
Don't be tardy...or hungry for knowledge! The New York Water
Taxi, with a 99%+ on-time record is much
more comfortable than the
yellow bus (or the commuter railroad). Ride free for a
week! We're handling the entire
marketing campaign -- including radio, guerilla
marketing, and events. Get smarter
with "A Slice of Yonkers
History," a delicious way to devour fun
facts. The City of Yonkers is our client on
both projects.

Random Sparks
You shouldn't interrupt in class or text while driving.
But now you CAN talk to your Blackberry or iPhone. Vlingo is a super-
cool voice recognition application. And it won't sass
you back!
